Competencies
Competencies in this qualification equip the officer with supervisory skills to manage and facilitate the work of a team of security officers.
Qualification
Individual has to complete 7 modules (4 core and 3 elective modules) to attain the Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision.
A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded to the individual when he successfully completed each module and assessed to be competent.
The Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be issued at a later date (2.5 months) upon final assessment.
Minimum Entry Requirement
There is no minimum educational entry requirement. However, candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
For Supervise Security Officers module, candidates must successfully completed both Security Officer Licensing Modules OR exempted.
Fee per Module (exclude GST)
Singaporeans or Permanent Residents: $100 per module
Non-Singaporeans: $1,000 per module
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who has taken the module before will need to pay the full fee.
Subsidies Available
Employers who sponsor their staff for training may apply for absentee payroll funding under the SkillsConnect.
